We at Berriwood know and cherish the fact that no two children are born alike or have similar educational and vocational needs. With our unique programme modelled after the best practices in the educational space, we try to understand the unique combination of their needs and adaptations required to enhance the learning experience and outcomes of each individual child. We make sure that each class is designed to enable every child to bring out the best in them and help them in prepare for their career needs. We provide the additional support, which is not normally provided in general education programmes such as great emphasis on pre-vocational training, targeted therapy to develop/sharpen inadequacies in language, reading/writing skills etc..
We offer a wide range of approaches and services. This includes smaller classes, individualised learning, one-on-one support, self-taught classes and learning aids all delivered by experienced professionals in the education space.
Each student will be entitled to an individualised educational plan (IEP). The IEP spells out the child’s learning needs and tailors the programme to his/her needs. Services can be availed at a fee (as described below)

We want to contribute to society by creating a fun learning centre where a student can learn and hone a set of skills to do basic day-to-day work. We are trying to make a stand for our unique children to be able to indulge in regular activities with society without being discriminated.

Life may not unfold as we plan, however we must never stop working for a better one. We welcome all special kids to our school and we ensure to give our best. We will make sure that every child’s unique needs is attended to and guided in the right direction. Every child is special to Berriwood.

A RCI certified educator, visionary with passion for academy with a trailblazing history of
success in developing effective strategies to help the unique at various centres across Delhi
and Gurgaon. She is a versatile and motivated Special Educator with an outstanding service
record spanning over past two decades, committed to providing a supportive environment
for children with special need. She holds a Master’s degree in education and computers and
Diploma in Special Education and Systems Management with over 25 years of experience in
CBSE and IB schools and hospitals like Moolchand, VIMHANS and Rockland as well as
educational institutions such as Springdales School, Pathways School, Gurgaon. She was also
a mother to an unique child, whom she lost to the disease. Thereafter, she educated herself
to become a mentor/educator to children with special needs and a voice and support to
other parents with unique children.
